First State BMX local point series
New for the 2016 season, First State BMX will be running a local track point series. The intention for this series is to recognize those riders that do not necessarily have the resources to travel and race multiple races throughout the season effectively boosting their district points. However, this series is not limited to Delaware riders only. Here is how it works:
Riders will receive “local” points for every race they participate in at First State BMX. These local points have no bearing on any USA BMX point standings. Local points are tracked by the Board members of FSBMX and are completely stand alone. The local point series will run the entire 2016 season and top riders will be awarded unique awards for this series at our end of year banquet. Top riders will be recognized in Boys 20”, Girls 20”, Mens Cruiser, and Womens Cruiser classes. There will be no segregation of age or proficiency. All riders will receive points in the following structure regardless of class, age, or proficiency:
1st place through 8th place will receive 9 points to 2 points respectively. Riders that do not qualify for their main event will receive 1 point.
